On 4 September 2026 Perthshire North MSP, Mr John Swinney, officially reopened Logierait Bridge following the completion of a major £185,000 refurbishment. The bridge was completely closed for five weeks while the refurbishment was carried out following a Principal Inspection. The works were undertaken by JML Contracts of Auchterarder and were completed a week ahead of schedule.

Support for the refurbishment was provided by a number of organisations including Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, the Griffin and Calliacher Community Fund, the Enchanted Forest Community Trust, the Dunard Trust, our faithful subscribers and many generous individuals.
